Rideshare Safety
As Supervisor, I will work to improve the safety conditions for Uber and Lyft passengers by:
- proposing that rideshare companies offer passengers the option to select a same-sex driver;
- proposing mile/minute increase in pay for drivers to discourage overly long work days;
- requiring native English language fluency for drivers of English language customers to improve passenger communication and to ensure drivers understand traffic/street signs.
